Reduzierung von Diesel-Emissionen: Liebherr gewinnt mit innovativem System den Cleantech Award

The Cleantech Award went to Liebherr for the system it has developed to treat pollutants in the diesel engines of heavy plant machinery and trucks. Not only does the system filter diesel particles, it also cuts nitrogen oxide emissions. It is much more compact than comparable filter systems and helps reduce the operating costs incurred by the end user. Thanks to this innovation by Liebherr, annual CO2 emissions per vehicle will fall by around two metric tons. The system also will comply with future Swiss and EU vehicle emission standards, which are currently being negotiated for the 2018-2020 period.
